Now Accepting Nominations for Volunteer of the Year and Sports Hall of Fame!
The Berwick Recreation Department is accepting nominations for “2012 Volunteer of the Year”. One nominee will be chosen from those received to represent the Town at the Provincial Awards Ceremony in Halifax in April. All volunteers will be recognized at a Volunteer Reception in Berwick on April 18th. There are so many great volunteers – now is the time to recognize them for all their hard work and dedication! The Berwick Sports Hall of Fame Committee is looking for nominations for this year’s Induction Ceremony, set to take place at The Kings Mutual Century Centre on Saturday, June 9th. Deadline for nominations is February 10, 2012. The Committee is also looking for names for Recognition. Any team or local athlete that has an outstanding accomplishment or placed at the Provincial or National Level will be recognized.
