The construction of the new fire hall is underway, on time, as planned. Steve MacMahon, an officer in the Berwick and District Volunteer Fire Department, has started a photo bank to document the history of the build from start to finish. His images will be available online through Google's Picasa. Be sure to bookmark Steve's gallery and watch the visual story of the build unfold. Steve's photo project, it must be noted, is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his immense contribution to the project. He has given huge amounts of time and effort, not to mention his professional expertise electrical/mechanical technologies, from solar heat to lighting to generators and, well...you name it. Everyone in Berwick and the surrounding district of Kings County can hold Steve in high esteem for the quality time he invests, the significant financial savings he's given taxpayers, and the personal sacrifices he willingly makes.
